Temples in Bali
Bali, the island of the gods, has, apart from the private temples, which you can find in every single house, thousands of public temples. Some of them are more than a thousand years old, some are more impressive than others, some are in very remote places and some are in caves. However, all of them are of importance to the Balinese hindus and every single one of them is used regularly in various ceremonies throughout the year. This is the reason why it is not always possible to visit a temple at all times. We will happily advise you concerning the ceremony schedule of each temple.
